Where Nature Meets The Art of Clean
Every bar of soap we make begins with the same question: what does this ingredient actually do for the skin that receives it? Not what does it claim to do — what does it genuinely deliver. That question has guided every HAMANEI formula from the very first batch, and it continues to guide every one we make today.
Four Bars. One Standard.
A grounding bar built around vetiver root oil — earthy, smoky, and deeply calming. For the person who wants their daily ritual to feel intentional, not routine.
Cedar and forest botanicals in a clean, clarifying bar. Woody, fresh, and precise — the scent of standing in old growth after rain.
The scent of the first rain falling on warm earth. A seasonal, limited-edition bar that sells out with every batch. Get on the waitlist.
All three bars in one order. The complete HAMANEI collection. The best way to begin, and the most considered gift we offer.
Three Daughters. Six Letters. One Brand.
The name HAMANEI is not a word you will find in any dictionary, and that is precisely the point. It was created by a father who wanted to honor his three daughters — Hayley, Madison, and Neilián — by building something lasting in their name. He took the first two letters of each name: HA from Hayley, MA from Madison, NEI from Neilián, and from those six letters he built a brand.
Every bar of soap that carries the HAMANEI name carries those three names inside it. That is not a marketing story. That is the actual reason this brand exists.
HAMANEI was founded on a single, uncompromising belief: that what touches your skin every day should be as honest and clean as the love that inspired it.
What We Believe About Clean
Clean is not a marketing claim. It is a standard of sourcing, a discipline of formulation, and a promise we make every time we put the HAMANEI name on a bar of soap. These are the principles we hold non-negotiable.
Every fragrance, every preservative, every active compound in our soaps comes from a plant, mineral, or botanical source. We do not make exceptions because we believe exceptions become compromises, and compromises become the standard. We refuse to let that happen.
We make soap in small batches because quality and scale are in constant tension. A bar made in a batch of fifty receives a different quality of attention than one made in a batch of five thousand. We choose attention every time, without exception, because your skin notices the difference.
Every ingredient in every HAMANEI soap is listed plainly and without obfuscation, because we believe that the right to know what touches your body is not a privilege — it is a baseline standard that every skin care brand should meet without being asked to do so.
This brand was not born from a gap in the market. It was born from a father's love and his absolute insistence that his daughters — and everyone who uses these soaps — deserve better than what most of the industry provides. That intention never leaves the room when we are formulating.
Ingredients You Can Pronounce and Trust
We have built our formulas around botanical ingredients that have served human skin for centuries — not decades. These are not new discoveries manufactured in a laboratory. They are the oils, butters, and plant extracts that nature has been refining since long before modern cosmetics arrived to complicate the conversation.
We list them all. We explain what each one does. We change nothing without telling you. If an ingredient does not serve your skin directly and honestly, it does not earn a place in our bars.
What Our Customers Say
"I have spent years searching for a soap that actually does what natural skin care promises: ingredients that respect the skin rather than overwhelm it with synthetic compounds dressed up in scientific language. Vetiver Noir is the bar I have been looking for. My skin has never felt this genuinely clean — not stripped, not coated, just cared for."
"First Rain is extraordinary. I signed up for the waitlist the moment my first bar ran out. The petrichor scent is completely unlike anything else — it is real, not a synthetic approximation of real. I know the difference now."
"The HAMANEI bundle was a gift for my mother and she called me the day it arrived. Cedar Wilds became her daily bar immediately. The story behind the name made it even more meaningful to give."
